A little rain and a lotta fog. We are expecting heavier rain later this afternoon.

The Leelanau Cultural Center at the Old Art Building is hosting a one-day Plein Air Painting Event and Exhibition.

During the day artists will be seen painting in and around Leland capturing views of Fishtown, Lake Michigan beaches, orchards, vineyards and spectacular terrain.

You are invited to the reception and sale of paintings “fresh off the easel” from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. There will be prizes for Best of Show and People’s Choice award. 40% of all sales will benefit the Old Art Building. Admission is free, donations greatly appreciated!

	From Vicki on 5/22/2013 Fog, rain or shine, you always share the land of delight with us. I saw a travel film of Michigan before the bridge and the land of delight was part of the flim. Good luck with the art sale wish I could be there for the weekend. Biscuit has another beautiful friend. He should be named the official greeter to the land of derlight.
